Refund and Cancellation Policy

This page explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work on Marge Studio. It is a draft and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer, treat it as a starting point until the Marge Studio owner has it checked, and keep your own records of any request you make to us.
1. Free trial
Marge Studio offers a free Trial tier with a limited number of AI carousels, with no credit card required to sign up. Because no payment is taken on the trial, there is nothing to refund on the trial itself. You choose when, and whether, to add a card and upgrade to a paid plan.
2. How billing works
Paid plans (currently Starter and Pro) are billed monthly in Singapore dollars (SGD) through our payment partner, Airwallex. When you subscribe, you authorize us to save your card with Airwallex and to charge it automatically at the start of each billing period until you cancel. Current prices are shown on our pricing page.
3. How to cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time from inside Marge Studio, under Settings, Billing, using the cancel subscription control on your current plan. You can also email hello@marge.sg and we will cancel it for you. Cancelling stops future renewals, it does not immediately end your current billing period.
4. What happens after you cancel
When you cancel, your subscription will not renew at the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again. You keep full access to your paid plan and everything you have made until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that, your workspace drops back to the free Trial tier and its limits, your brands, carousels, and drafts are not deleted, you simply lose access to paid-only features (publishing, scheduling, the calendar, inbox, and analytics) until you resubscribe.
5. Refunds
Because Marge Studio is billed monthly with no long term commitment, and because generation and publishing credits are consumed as you use the product, we do not provide automatic refunds or credits for partial months when you cancel partway through a billing period. That said, we would rather make things right than lose your trust: if you believe you were charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge, a charge after you successfully cancelled, or a technical fault on our side), email hello@marge.sg within 14 days of the charge and we will review it and, where appropriate, issue a full or partial refund at our discretion.
6. Switching plans and proration
You can move between Starter and Pro at any time from Settings, Billing. Plan changes take effect from your next billing period, not immediately, so you are not charged a prorated amount mid cycle and you keep the features and quota of your current plan until then. If you upgrade, you will be billed the new plan's price starting from your next renewal.
7. Failed payments
If a renewal charge fails (for example, an expired card), we will mark your subscription as payment due and may attempt to charge it again or ask you to update your payment method. If payment is not resolved within a reasonable period, your workspace may drop back to the free Trial tier limits until you update your billing details and resubscribe.
8. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first at hello@marge.sg so we have a chance to sort it out directly, this is usually faster than a bank dispute. Filing a chargeback with your card issuer without contacting us first may result in your subscription and workspace access being suspended while the dispute is investigated with Airwallex.
