Terms of Service
Last updated 5 July 2026
These terms are a plain English draft written to match how Marge Studio actually works today. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer yet, so treat them as a starting point rather than a final, binding contract until the Marge Studio owner has them checked.
1. Who these terms are with
Marge Studio ("Marge Studio", "we", "us") is a product of Marge.sg, based in Singapore, available at studio.marge.sg. These terms apply to anyone who creates an account or otherwise uses Marge Studio ("you", "your account", or your "workspace"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you are using Marge Studio on behalf of a company, you are confirming you have the authority to bind that company to these terms.
2. What Marge Studio does
Marge Studio helps you build a brand profile, generate on brand social media content (including images and captions) using AI models from third party providers, and publish or schedule that content to your own connected social media accounts. You stay in control of what gets published: nothing goes out to a connected account without you generating, approving, or scheduling it inside the product.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You need an account to use Marge Studio, created with a valid email address. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your country, and able to enter into a binding contract to use the service. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity that happens under your account and workspace, including actions taken by teammates you invite. Tell us straight away at hello@marge.sg if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Marge Studio to:
- Generate or publish content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, harassing, or that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Impersonate a person or business you are not authorized to represent, or connect a social media account you do not own or have not been given permission to manage.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with Marge Studio, its APIs, or the third party services it relies on.
- Use the service to spam, mislead, or manipulate engagement on any social platform in a way that breaches that platform's own rules.
- Resell or provide the service to others outside the plan you are on (for example, white label use is only permitted under an Agency plan, where offered).
We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, following the process described in section 9 (Suspension and termination) where practical.
5. AI generated content and your responsibility
Marge Studio uses third party AI models to help draft captions, ideas, and images (see our Privacy Policy for which providers we use). As between you and Marge Studio, you own the content you generate and choose to keep, subject to you having the rights to any brand assets, photos, or text you upload as inputs.
AI generated output can be wrong, generic, or occasionally inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing every draft, caption, image, and post before it is published or scheduled, and for making sure it is accurate, on brand, and compliant with the law and with the rules of the platform you are posting to. Marge Studio is a drafting and scheduling tool, not an editor or legal reviewer, and we are not responsible for the content you choose to publish.
6. Connecting your social media accounts
To publish or schedule posts, you connect your own Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or LinkedIn account through our publishing partner, Ayrshare. By connecting an account, you authorize Marge Studio, acting through Ayrshare, to publish content on your behalf, read basic performance metrics for the posts we publish, and manage messages where you enable that feature. You can disconnect an account at any time from Settings, which revokes that authorization going forward. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to connect and post to any account you link, including business or client accounts.
7. Subscriptions, billing, and auto-renewal
Marge Studio offers a free trial tier (no card required, limited generations) and paid subscription plans, currently Starter and Pro, billed monthly in Singapore dollars (SGD). Current pricing is shown on our pricing page.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance each month and renew automatically at the start of each new billing period until you cancel. Payments are processed by our payment partner, Airwallex. To make renewals possible without disrupting your workflow, we keep a saved payment method on file with Airwallex and charge it automatically on your renewal date. You can review or cancel your subscription at any time from Settings, Billing inside the product.
Please see our Refund and Cancellation Policy for what happens when you cancel or ask for a refund.
8. Changing plans
You can upgrade or move down to a different paid plan at any time from Settings, Billing. Plan changes take effect from your next billing period, so you keep the features and quota of your current plan for the period you have already paid for. Downgrading does not delete your brands, carousels, or drafts, you simply lose access to features that are exclusive to the higher plan once the change takes effect.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Marge Studio and cancel your subscription whenever you like. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms (for example, the acceptable use rules in section 4), if required by law, or if your account is inactive on the free trial tier for an extended period. Where reasonably possible, we will try to notify you by email first and give you a chance to fix the issue. On termination, your right to use the service ends, though we may retain data for a period as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
Marge Studio is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that AI generated content will always be accurate, on brand, or suitable for publication without review. Third party services we rely on (AI providers, social platforms, our payments and email partners) can experience their own outages or changes that are outside our control.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, Marge Studio and Marge.sg will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost business opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to Marge Studio will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example as the product changes or as our own legal advice develops. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. If a change is material, we will make a reasonable effort to let you know, such as by email or an in-app notice. Continuing to use Marge Studio after an update means you accept the revised terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Marge Studio will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
